Anderson Dining Hall is open and ready to serve you and your family. The approximate cost for lunch is around $9.80 per person. There are also a variety of off campus lunch options. Our staff are happy to provide recommendations for off campus dining options. 
11:30am - 1:00pm Honors Student & Family Lunch
Welker Room, Laughlin Hall
During this lunch you will hear from faculty and learn more about your students experience in the Honors program.  Students will get the opportunity to meet other upperclass honors students and start to learn about programmatic components and expectations.
1:00pm - 2:00 pm Counseling & Health Services Open House
Stop by to meet the staff in Chatham's Counseling and Health Services.
1:00pm - 4:00pm Student Accounts & Financial Aid Open House
Braun, 1st Floor
Have a question about financial aid? Need to set up a payment plan? Drop by the Offices of Student Accounts & Office of Financial Aid to check on your students' account. Reminder: your student must go with you if you have questions about their account.
2:00pm - 3:00pm Athletics Department Reception
AFC Patio
Families of incoming varisty student athletes are invited to attend a reception hosted by the coaches in the Athletic Department.  Rain location - 3rd Floor, AFC.  
3:00pm - 3:30pm Academic Support Services

Hear from members of the Office of Academic & Accessibility Resources staff about opportunities for academic support at Chatham.  Topics will include tutoring services, supplemental instruction, writing center services and individual support services and workshops.

Career Development from Year One Day One

This session will provide an overview of the programs and services offered by the Office of Career Development, including:  internships, student employment, career consultations, networking opportunities, and additional ways we engage students.  

4:00pm - 4:30 pm

Studying Abroad while at Chatham

All Chatham students are encouraged to take advantage of study abroad opportunities during college.  Hear from the staff about opportunities for short- and long-term study experiences as well as the scholarships and financial assistance available to students.

4:30pm - 5:15pm Family & Friends Mix & Mingle
Carriage House
While your student meets with their Orientation Leader join members of the President's Cabinet to celebrate this momentous occasion.  Light refreshments provided.  
5:30pm - 6:30pm Orientation Welcome & New Student Photo
Attend the official Orientation Welcome with your student to learn about what it means to be a Chatham student.
6:30pm - 7:30pm Family Dinner
Families and students come together to enjoy a last meal before heading out.
