EHC K-12 Programs

Challenge Course

Bring a group of adults or youth to tackle teambuilding problems on Eden Hall's Challenge Course and leave with a greater sense of group trust, communication, problem solving and identity. Trained Chatham student facilitators match challenges to the group's ability level, encourage participants to get out of their comfort zones through "challenge by choice," and debrief the group's experiences. Before entering the low challenge course, facilitators lead groups through icebreakers and other initiative games.

We believe that the interpersonal skills developed through teambuilding experiences and associated reflection are critical for any leader and member of a community striving toward sustainability.

If you are a 4-12 group interested in doing the challenge course as part of a field trip to campus, which also includes a campus tour, time for lunch and other experiential activities (as time allows), please fill out the Registration Form on our Field Trip Page.

Challenge course facilitation is offered Monday through Friday. Rare weekend accommodations can be made based on staff availability. Each group must have at least 8 participants to run the program. All participants must be over 8 years of age and must come prepared with a signed permission slip (for youth under age 18) or Hold Harmless waiver (adults).
