The State of the LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor)

Dr. Michelle Bruno is on IUP’s faculty in 2006. She is a licensed professional counselor and a licensed school counselor. She attended Chatham University for her undergraduate work and completed her doctorate at the Ohio State University in Counselor Education. Her dissertation focused on the role of trauma and family factors on mental health outcomes in status offenders. Dr. Bruno’s research and scholarly interests include trauma and resiliency in adolescent girls, relational aggression, cyberbullying, wellness and balance in life, mental health literacy in adolescents, and depression and suicide among college students.
