Treat yourself to a summer evening of elegant melodies that reach across the centuries! Featuring the award winning talent of countertenor Andrey Nemzer, The Aeolian Winds , and head of Chatham University piano program Pauline Rovkah. Concert goers will experience the height of musical accomplishment against a backdrop of rolling fields, forests, and the Eden Hall Campus heirloom apple orchard.

Award winning countertenor Andrey Nemzer has been a soloist with a number of distinguished opera houses including Metropolitan Opera, Rhode Island Philharmonic, Rhode Island Philharmonic, Spoleto Festival USA, Spoleto Festival USA, and Opera San Antonio. A 3rd Prize Winner of Placido Domingo’s Operalia 2014 and The Winner of Metropolitan Opera National Council 2012.

The classical wind quintet The Aeolian Winds were formed in 2003 with a mission to share high-quality chamber music with the Pittsburgh community.

Pauline Rovkah is a concert pianist and the Head of Piano Program at Chatham University. Ms. Rovkah participated in several well-know Music Festivals, such as at the Chautauqua Institution; Peacham, Vermont; and Cambridge University. She is a founder and Artistic Director of Chamber Music series at Chatham. Rovkah’s solo recitals and chamber music performances have been recorded and broadcast by the Pittsburgh Classical Radio WQED.
