GigaPan, Observation, and Green Building Alliance Teacher Workshop

Tuesday, May 2, 2017
4:30 PM – 7:30 PM
Eden Hall Campus

Cost: FREE

How well do your students observe their environment? In what ways might you advance their observation skills so that they bring a critical eye to the world and how they might improve it? Often overlooked, observation is an essential 21st century skill that will better prepare our learners to solve problems. In partnership with the Green Building Alliance, K-12 Programs at Eden Hall will facilitate a hands-on workshop that explores strategies for teaching observation using Gigapan technology, developed by the Community Robotics, Education and Technology, Empowerment (CREATE) Lab. Learn to take and “stitch” a GigaPan photograph and find out how to borrow a GigaPan camera set from K-12 Programs at Eden Hall. If you're an educator, complimentary dinner and ACT 48 certificates provided. Come learn with us! *Participants that attend all three teacher training events (3/21/2017, 4/18/2017, 5/2/2017) will receive a Speck monitor to use in their classroom.
