Speck Monitors, Air Quality, and GASP (Group Against Smog & Pollution) Teacher Workshop

Investigate indoor air quality, measure fine particulate levels using CREATE Lab's Speck monitors, and learn more about the evolution of air quality in Western PA. Does indoor air quality matter? Western Pennsylvania has been working to improve outdoor air quality for decades. What about the air we breathe inside? How can our actions and behaviors make a difference? Explore these questions and learn how to use the Speck Air Quality Monitor in your school or home to help make healthy choices throughout your day. If you're an educator, complimentary dinner and ACT 48 certificates provided. Come learn with us! *Participants that attend all three teacher training events (3/21/2017, 4/18/2017, 5/2/2017) will receive a Speck monitor to use in their classroom.
