Join us for an evening celebrating the Maenads Fellowship, a new program of Words Without Walls. The Maenads were the women who followed Dionysus, ecstatic with drink. Our first cohort of Maenad Fellows will read their work, ecstatic with the written word. They'll read alongside prominent Pittsburgh artists reading the work of Words Without Walls students from SCI Pittsburgh. We'll also feature the photography of Mark Perrott and the visual art of Lindsey Scherloum. Broadsides and chapbooks of Words Without Walls writers will be available. Please join us as we raise matching funds for our National Endowment for the Humanities Challenge Grant.
