Join the Falk School of Sustainability & Environment for our annual conference exploring the intersections between food and sustainability!

FEATURING: Esteemed Keynotes:

Kate Clancy, a food systems consultant and Visiting Scholar at the Center for a Livable Future Johns Hopkins University School of Public Health.

Raj Patel, journalist, speaker and author of several books including, The Value of Nothing and the best-selling Stuffed and Starved: The Hidden Battle for the World Food System.

Panelists from Pittsburgh and beyond, including local farmers, nonprofit organizations and research scientists participating in two panel discussions titled: Meat and Livestock Sustainability and Building Sustainable and Socially Just Food Systems.

An interactive self guided tour of Eden Hall.

Workshops by our Food Studies & Sustainability Master's degree candidates.

A hyper-local sustainable lunch, sourced from our on-campus farm.

Happy Hour and Social Gathering featuring a live bluegrass band.

Pre-conference Open House for prospective graduate students, beginning at 8:30 am (registration required).
