El dia de los muertos: Discuss how to cope with grief, celebrate life, and honor both on the Day of the Dead!

Join the Counseling Center and your fellow students in an active conversation about how to manage grief while also celebrating life in the tradition of el dia de los muertos. We will share lively discussion, watch informative videos, listen to music, and make paper butterflies to honor our loved ones while enjoying traditional snacks.
Day: November 2nd, 2018
Time: 4:00 pm – 5:15 pm
Place: Room LCC2, Jennie King Mellon Library, Chatham University
4:00 pm Presentation and introductions. A conversation about remembering departed loved ones.
4:45 pm Hands-on activity. Making paper Monarch butterflies with messages. While doing the crafts we will listen to music and share pan de muerto and Mexican hot chocolate.
