Black History Month Library Display

February 1, 2019 to February 14, 2019
12:00 AM – 11:55 PM
Jennie King Mellon Library, First Floor

Cost: Free

To celebrate Black History in America, the main display on the first floor of the library will be devoted to items by and focusing on black and African American people, history, and culture. But to put a local twist on it, we will be adding a Pittsburgh focus! Come take home great reads by Ta-Nehisi Coates, Alice Walker, Toni Morrison, and more! This display is the first in a series during the months of February and March. From here we step into Women of Color HERStory Month and then Women's History Month, highlighting minority women.
