SHS Career Exploration Day

Admissions and the School of Health Sciences (SHS) partner for the 3rd annual SHS Career Exploration Day on April 17, 2020. This daylong event exposes high school junior & seniors to the health professions represented at Chatham with engaging activities that differentiate and demonstrate the professions: Athletic Training, Healthcare Informatics, Nursing, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, Physician Assistant, and Psychology. Students participate in hand’s on activities and have an opportunity to ask questions, and interact with graduate students & faculty. The event aims to inspire students, show them the many opportunities that exist within the School of Health Sciences, and emphasize that a career within the health professions is attainable at Chatham. -- Participants always raise their hands when asked “Who learned something new today?” and “Who is now considering a different career than you were yesterday?” -- If you would like to volunteer at this event, contact Gabrielle Strong.
