Teaching Sustainability, Systems Thinking and Elements of PBL

This workshop is open to K-12 educators as a modified version of our typical full-day "PBL Through the Lens of Sustainability" workshop.
Learning Outcomes (educators will be able to...:
* Engage with sustainability frameworks, mindsets and definitions
* Integrate concrete tools and activities to help students with "systems thinking" into in-person or virtual instruction
* Locate Chatham's collection of virtual learning resources related to sustainability topics. Provide input on the future direction of these resources.
* Reflect on personal practice compared to PBL best practices, including examples of units implemented in real classrooms.
Act 48 Certificates will be given to all participants.
This is the first in a series of three workshops, which include:
June 9th, 12 - 1pm - "Project Based Learning (PBL) and Virtual Learning"
June 16th, 12 - 1pm (1 - 2pm optional) - Planning Virtual PBL: Peer Feedback and Office Hours
