Lindsay House Open House

Please join the Departments of Undergraduate Humanities, Graduate Creative Writing, and the Women’s Institute for an Open House. All students, faculty, and staff are invited. New this year is a showcase of the Women’s Institute in their new home along with a revamp of the space. Come mingle with fellow students and faculty, regale us with your tales of summer and possible career plans, nosh on some tasty snacks, and learn about our student organizations.

Front Porch:
Grab a drink and meet the Foreign Language faculty.
Sigma Tau Delta students will be serving up cookies and offering a polaroid photo booth.

First Floor:
Dr. Carrie Helms’s Office – Chat about the Undergraduate Humanities majors and minors, grab a (temporary) flash tattoo and lemon bar.

Conference Room/ Kitchen – Welcome to the Women’s Institute’s new space!
Meet representatives from the Women’s Institute, Triota Honor Society, Chatham Feminist Coalition, and Chatham’s Planned Parenthood chapter.
Enjoy some cheese & crackers and fresh fruit.
Make yourself a coffee or tea in the kitchen if you are low on caffeine!

Second Floor:
Dig into a hot spinach & artichoke dip with pitas.
Join Dr. Allie Reznik and Honors Program students for a mocktail.
Drop into 201 Lindsay to talk to Dr. Sheila Squillante about grad creative writing and Dr. B about the Philosophy minor.
Stop into Dr. Karen Kingsbury’s office to enjoy an Asian snack and learn about Chatham’s Asian Studies Certificate.

Third Floor:
Enjoy a mini “Pittsburgh Cookie Table” with lemon bars, chocolate chip cookies, and allergen-friendly cookies.
Meet representatives from the Graduate Creative Writing Program, Fourth River, Minor Bird, and Creative Writing Club.
