MacBook Laptop Program
All incoming first-year students will receive a new Macbook Air computer during student orientation. Use of the MacBook will be integrated into the curriculum and enable the students to access the Chatham network via Wi-Fi areas throughout campus.
As part of the package students will receive the following equipment and services:
- Macbook Air
- Chatham University logoed backpack and Speck Case
- 4 year AppleCare Warranty coverage
- 4 year SafeWare Accidental Damage Protection
- 4 year SafeWare Theft Protection
- HelpDesk Repair Services
Costs for the computer and services are covered by the Technology Fee. Ownership of the equipment is transfered to the Student upon graduation as detailed in the Student Technology Program Computer Agreement (Student Contract). View a sample 2012 Student Contract.
Graduate students in the Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Master of Landscape Architecture, Master of Science in Interior Architecture, Master of Interior Architecture, or Master of Physician Assistant Studies programs may refer to the Graduate Laptop Requirement.
