Chatham University Master of Science in Biology
What benefit is there for MSBio students in regards to Chatham's Master of Physician Assistant Studies (MPAS) program?
Recent MS Biology alumni or soon-to-graduate MS Biology students who have a CASPA-calculated GPA of 3.25 or higher for both overall and science (undergraduate and graduate) are guaranteed an admission interview slot for the MPAS program. Only 30% of applicants receive an interview, so this benefit is highly advantageous for MS Biology alumni. Note that beginning with the 2020-21 CASPA cycle, interested students and alumni must have graduated from the MS Biology program no more than 1 academic year prior to the intended start term for the MPAS program (i.e. graduated May 2020, may start no later than August 2021). Students who matriculated Summer 2019 or earlier will be grandfathered in as long as they maintained the CASPA-calculated GPA of 3.25 or higher for both overall and science (undergraduate and graduate).
