Dr. Mark Kassel Named Director of Chatham Online

PITTSBURGH:  Chatham University has announced that Dr. Mark Kassel has been appointed the Director of Chatham Online. In this role, Dr. Kassel will oversee the development and management of Chatham’s online curriculum, degree programs and student experience.

Dr. Kassel has directed online curriculum and instructional design since 2006 at both The Chicago School of Professional Psychology and, most recently, Robert Morris University where he served as Director, Curriculum and Instructional Design. In addition to developing fully online courses and programs, Dr. Kassel has experience incorporating hybrid and online models into traditional on-ground programs.  He emphasizes  promoting high educational standards in undergraduate and graduate programs and has supported development of online programs in the social services, business, engineering, information systems and health services fields.

He earned his Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology and Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology from the Adler School of Professional Psychology (Chicago, IL) and his undergraduate psychology degree from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
