PITTSBURGH: Chatham University’s Environmental Science, English and Art undergraduate programs were recently ranked as a Top 10 Best Value in the “2016-2017 Best Value Small Colleges Rankings.”
The methodology used for the rankings focused specifically on identifying the “best value” degrees at relatively small colleges and universities. The goal was to recognize the programs that are both affordable and reputable, where students don’t have to be rich to enjoy rich academic experiences. In order to be considered, each school must offer a minimum number of relevant programs for students seeking a bachelor’s degree in the field and demonstrate a genuine commitment to affordable education. Schools were then ranked based on Academic Depth, Student Support, and Affordability using the NCES College Navigator database and program research.
