Time to Program Completion

The PsyD degree requires a total of four years of full-time study post-masters degree, which includes three years of coursework and practicum experiences and a one-year pre-doctoral internship, for a minimum of 85 credit hours.

Transfer of Credits

Students who have graduate level counseling-related courses from another institution may transfer up to six (6) credits from the former program, provided that those credit hours were successfully completed within the past seven (7) years. Acceptance of transfer credits will be decided by the Graduate Psychology Program Director. Students wishing to transfer credits from another institution must provide course syllabi and/or descriptions and an official transcript. The courses must be transferred prior to beginning the program.
