Join us for Sustainable Saturdays!

Open to families with students of any age, each event includes a mini-tour of campus features related to the program topic and a take-home craft. Lunch will be available for purchase in the campus dining hall after the event. Program fee is per take-home craft project not per participant.


Go Fish!

February 4, 2017 / 10AM-12PM

Families tour the campus and explore the aquaculture lab. Afterward, participants will build a personal aquaponics system out of a repurposed 2-liter bottle.

$25 per project
($20 if you bring your own 2-liter bottle)



Solar Superheroes

April 22, 2017 / 10AM-12PM

Participants will tour Eden Hall Campus's solar features, learn about types of homemade solar ovens, and then construct a solar oven out of a repurposed pizza box. Once it's built, they'll cook their first treat: S'mores!

$15 per project
($10 if you bring your own pizza box)
