WORKSHOP POSTPONED UNTIL THE FALL. PLEASE CHECK BACK FOR NEW DATE! Due to the large interest from students (that are away for the summer) the workshop will be offered in the fall.

Looking to expand your outdoor cooking accessories with a solar cooker? Heard of solar cooking but never saw an oven in action? Join our solar cooking gurus for an overview of everything about solar cooking. These low-tech cookers are having a major impact on cooking around the world. Learn about the history and different sizes/types of cookers. Sample a variety of foods made using the cooker during the workshop. These relatively cheap devices use only the sun as a power source, eliminating the need for propane, charcoal, or wood. They can be transported very easily and will cook a wide variety of food including meat, stir fry, and breads, to name a few.
