1. Submit your FAFSA & Receive Your Financial Aid Award Letter from Chatham

Submit a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) at studentaid.gov/fafsa. Our financial aid team will prepare an offer for your Chatham education, complete with your merit scholarship, federal and state aid for which you are eligible, institutional grants, and potential work study. Chatham's school code: 003244.

2. Submit Your Deposit to Secure Your Spot

To submit your deposit, you can sign into your Chatham University Applicant Portal to submit your $150 tuition deposit. Please note: If you are living on campus, an additional $150 housing deposit is required when completing your housing application (live in February).

You may also choose to submit your deposit by calling your Admission Counselor and paying by credit card over the phone.

3. Attend an Accepted Student Day Event

Event dates are March 13th and April 17th—watch out for invites in January for event registration details. Accepted Student Days are the ideal way for you and your family to explore the Chatham Community. Ask questions to our Student Affairs and Residence Life staff on all things campus life, learn about professional development support and outcomes, and finally connect with current students and faculty in your major on your four-year plan and professional goals. 4. Register for a 1:1 Financial Aid Review Session

This is optional, but highly encouraged. Sit down with our admission team to understand your final cost of attendance, breakdown of all financial support available, and the ROI of a Chatham education. 

• Discuss four-year plans and academic goals, as well as internship and career outcomes. 
• Transfer credit breakdown and how that is integrated into your time at Chatham University. 
• Address other financial support options. 

5. Register for Welcome Day

At Welcome Days, you can meet with key members of the campus community and get ready for the upcoming semester. Sign up for an upcoming event and then visit our Welcome Day Support Site.

6. Access Your Chatham Student Account & Email

Shortly after your deposit has been submitted, you will be notified that an IT account and Chatham email address have been created for your use. These will enable you to access myChatham, the University portal. Be sure to check your Chatham email regularly, as this is the primary method of communication by the University.

7. Get Your Student ID

Following your academic deposit, and once you have your Chatham account, you can also get your Student ID. Your ID will enable you to gain access to various locations around campus, including the fitness center and computer labs.

8. Connect with Other Students on Social Media

Build a profile on ZeeMee to connect with other admitted Chatham students, and be sure to follow Chatham University on the main social media platforms.

Students who have been accepted and deposited can join the committed ZeeMee community.
