Ms. McLean was appointed Interim Chief Executive Officer of the Allegheny County Port Authority, the agency responsible for regional bus and rail transit service. Since 2010, she has served as its Chief Financial Officer with responsibility over financial planning, operating and capital budgets, accounting/ treasury, information technology and purchasing. Prior to her executive appointments with the Authority, Ms. McLean was the Chief Financial Officer of the City of Pittsburgh under Mayor Tom Murphy for six years. Ms. McLean was a key player in developing and implementing the City's fiscal strategy that resulted in legislative approval of broader regional taxing power and the wide-ranging cost controls through the adoption of a budget plan under State Act 47. Thereafter, she was a Managing Director of Infrastructure Initiatives for the Urban Land Institute in Washington, D.C. where she led a team in developing policies to promote smart infrastructure investment, economic growth and sustainable communities.

Ms. McLean received a Masters degree in Public Management with a focus on Financial Management from the H.J. Heinz School of Public Policy at Carnegie Mellon University, a Master of Arts degree and a Bachelor of Arts degree, both in English Literature, from Duquesne University.
