Melancholy and ecstasy, laments and dances, elegant salon music and war songs: this is the diverse array of emotions and styles reflected in Sydney Kaczorowski and Fabio Gentili’s program of Art Songs from Eastern Europe. This program in Slovak, Polish, and Hungarian languages, each with their unique sensibilities and styles, are tied together by their humanity and ability to unite.
Ms. Kaczorowski’s ethnomusicological research and command of Slavic languages has enabled her to enchant audiences with repertoire little-heard outside of their home countries. https://www.sydneykaczorowski.com/about
