Dates & Cost

  • Program Dates: Sunday, June 1 to Thursday, July 31.
  • Location: Chatham Apartment Towers, 5800 Fifth Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA, 15232. Two-bedroom, double occupancy apartments. All gender.
  • Cost: $250 per week (4-week minimum stay required), with an additional $250 deposit required to secure a place in the program.

Chatham Apartments

Furniture & Setup

All summer intern apartments are furnished with beds, a couch, dining room table and chairs, and a coffee table. Each apartment also has a living room, kitchen (equipped with a stove, sink, apartment refrigerator), and a bathroom. Residents in apartments are responsible for providing other amenities for shared spaces like the kitchen and bathroom, such as pots, pans, plates, kitchen appliances other than the stove and fridge (i.e., microwave, etc.), toilet paper, and cleaning supplies. University-provided furniture cannot be removed from student residence hall rooms or apartments.

Utilities, Mail & Parking

All on-campus residence hall rooms and apartments include all utilities, including heat, water, electricity, and WiFi. All intern students will be given the option of receiving a mailbox in our University post office. The mailing address is 107 Woodland Rd. Pittsburgh, PA, 15232. Parking is included in the price of the stay. Designated parking passes will be distributed to park in front of the Chatham Apartments on Fifth Avenue.
