Next Steps 

Our partnership with UPMC makes it easy for UPMC nurses to participate in Chatham’s RN-BSN program. Here’s what you need to do:

  1. Contact Admissions at 800-837-1290 or chathamadmissions@chatham.edu to learn more and begin the process. 
  2. Apply to the RN-BSN program.
  3. You will be emailed about your admission decision within 5-10 business days. You will complete the Admit Reply Form in your application portal to accept your admission.
  4. Once you have accepted your admission into the program, you will connect with an academic advisor to develop a program plan. 
  5. Register for the first semester of courses. 
  6. UPMC Nurses—complete UPMC’s Tuition Advancement process at the beginning of each semester to cover each semester’s bill directly.

Admissions Requirements

Before you start your application, please review the RN-BSN admission requirements below. 

Applicants must:

  • Complete the online application (including UPMC employee number)
  • Submit proof of completion of an RN degree (Associate or Diploma) with a minimum 2.0 GPA
  • Submit a copy of a current unencumbered RN license
  • Submit a copy of official transcripts of all completed post-high school education from all schools attended

Chatham University requires state authorization to provide distance education in states other than their own. Please follow the link below to see if Chatham is authorized to deliver instruction in your state. Also, this program may have a required practice experience component. Please check the information in the Practice Experience and Special requirements column to see if the state you plan on completing your practice experience hours is approved or has special restrictions.
