We are excited to welcome back classes ending in 3 & 8 for an in-person celebration on the Shadyside and Eden Hall campuses. Additionally, we are kicking off Alumni Reunion Weekend with the investiture ceremony of President Dr. Rhonda Phillips. The investiture ceremony and the Admissions update will be live streamed for those who are unable to join us on campus.

An investiture ceremony is an academic event typically held during a new president’s first year. The formal ceremony signifies the beginning of a new chapter of leadership for the university, and it provides an opportunity for the university, guests, and community to witness the formal installation of the new leader. The ceremony features academic traditions, speakers, and remarks by the president.
The investiture ceremony will take place on Chatham University’s Shadyside Campus in the Campbell Memorial Chapel.
To ensure that everyone can be a part of their Alumni Reunion Weekend, we will provide live streaming options for President Phillips’ investiture ceremony and the Admissions update with VP of Enrollment Management, Amy Becher.
Due to the ending of the pandemic health emergency, Chatham University no longer requires vaccinations or mask-wearing. If you have any questions or need additional information, please contact communications@chatham.edu.
The schedule and registration will be available online and mailed to your home in late August 2023. If you have not been receiving emails or mail from the Office of Alumni Engagement, contact us at alumni@chatham.edu or 412-365-1258 to provide your up-to-date contact information.
You can register by mail or online. All in-person and virtual live streamed events, content, and registration links will be listed on the events schedule page and sent by mail.
To register by mail, complete the form you receive and send to the Office of Alumni Relations with payment.

Yes, all events require registration.
Some in-person reunion events will require a registration fee while all live streamed events will be free.
All Class Parties will be held in various rooms throughout Mellon Center. If you are interested in volunteering to plan your Class Party, please contact us at alumni@chatham.edu or 412-365-2731.
Wear your favorite Chatham clothes or dress for the weather. We encourage you to be as comfortable as possible, so you can enjoy reunion weekend.
If you need some new Chatham gear, you can order from The Campus Bookstore and you’ll receive a discount for shopping.

Yes, you can designate your reunion gift to the fund of your choice. This year, we ask you to consider a gift to support the historic buildings and infrastructure of the Shadyside Campus. Chatham’s picturesque flagship campus remains one of the biggest draws for current students. Preserving these spaces will ensure a unique campus experience for the next generation of Chatham students.
